| boresight | The telescope control computer keeps track
of a specific point in the telescope focal plane that is called the boresight. The boresight is not fixed in the array but is at one of two
places for the two strips that compose a stripe. It is the boresight that will track great circles. Technically, the boresight tracks a path that is a great circle in J2000 coordinates as viewed from the solar system barycenter.
